Our gymnastic club 'Kunst na Arbeid' has been founded in 1924 by members of the local socialist party. Their aim was to provide workers and their family of a healthy, responsible sport education. These ties loosened in early 1970's and disappeared completely. Our sportclub has taken it's own route into the future.

Our club has said goodbye to 'competition'. We've decided to offer a brought variety of "recreational" gym.

• "K-Gym/FunGym" : we offer courses as of the age of 3, in different classes.
• K-Gym we have specialities such as Tumbling, Trampoline, Rhythmic gymnastics, Artistic Gym Ladies and AirTrack.
• K-Dans : Dance section: Funky Jazz (+14 years) and Funky Dance Kids (8-14 years).
• K-Fit: Fitness at KnA : "ZumFit (Zumba)", "B.B.B." , and "Pilates".

Each year, our club organizes a Gym Gala, an 'all in show' of all our members and disciplines. We also attend demonstrations in Belgium and abroad.

KnA-Kraainem possesses the IK-Gym logo. This is an official certificate for gymclubs in Belgium. Our score: 87% for an outstanding administrative and technical evaluation.

KnA is member/co-founder of the local Sports council and Cultural council..

KnA is affiliated to GymFed Vlaanderen,vzw and as such also member of the Royal Belgian Gymnastic Federation.

KnA-Kraainem is active within a very international environment. Kraainem is a commune in the outskirts of Brussels (east) and has approx. 13,000 inhabitants. Our public is very international and multi-cultural due to the proximity of the European Community and NATO headquarters.

We practice in the local Sportshall and the community centre " De Lijsterbes ", in meeting centre "Cammeland" and occasionally in the local school Bricout. Roadmaps, pictures and adresses are to be found in tab 'Adresses'.
